Mayhewn Arch Bookends in Blue

These bookends are a simple way to bring structure and color to a space that’s already being used. The arched shape and primary colors add personality to shelves, desks, or side tables.

We chose them not just for how they look, but for where they come from. Mayhewn Studio is based in the North Shore, where WKND began, and that sense of place matters to us.

Erin’s background as a civil engineer shows up in the clean lines, weight, and balance of each piece—designed to work first, then look good doing it.

Each set is cast by hand, which means small air bubbles and variations are part of the process. They’re subtle reminders that these are made, not manufactured.

They’re easy to use and easy to live with. Set them up on a bookshelf to keep paperbacks from tipping, use them on a desk to organize cookbooks or notebooks, or place them on a low shelf where the color can do a little work in the room.

The cork backing helps them stay put and protects surfaces, so you can move them around as your space changes. Practical, durable, and visually grounding, these are a great accent that quietly improve how a room works.
