Ragg Wool Melange Beanie

This is a beanie built for actual winter. Made from a heavyweight, double-layer ragg wool knit, it’s designed to handle cold, wind, and long days outdoors without losing its shape or warmth.

We chose it because it’s rooted in function and tradition. The ragg wool blend—long used in American workwear—provides insulation while wicking away moisture, and the added nylon helps the beanie hold up to years of wear. It’s made exclusively for Upstate Stock by a 120-year-old Pennsylvania yarn mill, then knit and finished in New York.

It’s a straightforward piece that does its job well and doesn’t need updating season after season.

This is the beanie you reach for on the coldest days. Wear it folded above the ears for a classic fit, or pull it down lower when the temperature drops.

It stays warm without feeling flimsy, and it holds its shape even after repeated wear. A reliable winter staple that’s comfortable, durable, and easy to live with.
