Made from a light yet durable linen-cotton flatweave, these napkins strike a balance between feeling casual and holding up to regular use. Each one is screen printed with water-based inks and sewn locally in San Francisco, using small-batch processes that allow for natural variation.

We appreciate that Jenny Pennywood embraces those variations rather than correcting them. Slight shifts in color, shape, and size reflect how they’re made and reinforce that these are textiles meant to be used, washed, and reused without worry.

These napkins are designed for real meals, not special occasions only. You can keep these in steady rotation for weeknight dinners, weekend brunches, or casual gatherings where paper just won’t do. At 15" square, they work equally well on the table, in a lunch bag, or folded next to a bowl of fruit.

With time, the fabric softens and the printed patterns mellow, developing that familiar, broken-in feel of a favorite vintage find. They’re easygoing, forgiving, and better the more you reach for them.
