Some connections last a lifetime. Hannah Blount isn’t just a designer we admire—she’s a childhood friend of mine. Carrying her work in our shop feels like both a homecoming and a celebration.
Hannah and I grew up on Nantucket. Surrounded by the grit and beauty of island life, she turned the textures of the sea into inspiration, transforming barnacles, shells, and mermaid’s purses into wearable talismans. Today, she works out of her New York studio, handcrafting jewelry that's available in boutiques like WKND and galleries across the country.
Heirlooms in the Making
Every piece of Hannah Blount Jewelry is an heirloom in the making. Her designs capture the rugged beauty of the sea, yet they remain refined and timeless. Here are a few of our favorites that we carry.
Tiny Turret Shell Necklace

Exclusive to us at WKND and cast in sterling silver, this pendant is a delicate yet powerful reminder of resilience, transformation, and natural beauty.
Barnacle Ruthie B. Studs

Nautical and versatile, these matte silver studs bring subtle ocean-inspired detail to any look — perfect for daily wear or as part of a layered set.
Skate Egg Case Necklace

A striking pendant modeled after the “mermaid’s purse,” this design embodies the wonder and curiosity of shoreline discoveries.
These pieces are as much about storytelling as they are about adornment. They invite you to carry a piece of the sea with you, to remember moments spent near the water, or to celebrate resilience and transformation in your own life.
